# 1% Development

**All present and future MetaMew and MetaDream developments will be funded through the developer tax.**

**We decided to implement a smart contract mechanism that swaps 1% of transactions to BNB. All proceeds raised will be used to further the development of MetaMew and MetaDream.**

**What is the significance of this?**

**Businesses require resources to function efficiently, and by providing them, we not only have the funds for development, but also the resources to expand the development team.**
